The basketball and hockey season is one of our more anticipated events, with schools usually playing preparatory matches across several months. The first day is usually held at the University of Ghana, which features all the preliminary games for basketball. Out of this, eight teams qualify to play on the Saturday in the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. The second day also features hockey. The two sports take place concurrently at the Ghana International School. (Other schools may host this as well).
